Vegan Shamrock Shake!


Staying on the St Patrick’s Day theme, today I have another “green” recipe, a vegan shamrock shake. Not only is the shake healthy, it only requires a few ingredients and can be whipped up in less than five minutes. Here are my previous “green” recipes:

Coffee Blondies with Mint Icing

Lemon, Cucumber Glow Water


This shake is thick and creamy from the frozen bananas, with a hint of minty freshness!


2 frozen bananas chopped

1 fresh banana

1/2 cup water

1 t vanilla

1/4 c mint (or mint extract)

1/4 t peppermint extract (optional if you want it stronger)

1/2 c spinach (for color and nutrition 😉

First put your fresh banana with the water in the blender and blend until smooth. Next add your chopped frozen bananas and the remaining ingredients. Blend until thick and creamy. Poor into a glass and enjoy immediately!

Alternatively, you could just use the frozen bananas (use 3), pulse them in the food processor and serve it ice cream style! In this one, I left the spinach out.
